Skee Mask - Compro

Skee Mask is known for a bunch of amazing releases on Ilian Tape. This is his second album, and it’s incredible.

The cover says a lot; Misty, obscured, and deep. It’s easy to get lost in the sauce with the lush atmospheric sounds. The beats keep things tightly together though. It has a sort of dub-techno, ambient techno feel, but at the same time this meticulous hip-hop style chopped-up beats give it some real magic.
