Widowspeak - Roses

If you are looking for the soundtrack to your Sunday morning, look no further: I’ve got you. The Brooklyn duo Widowspeak has been making music for over a decade, carving out their own cosy little nook in the heavily occupied dreamy indie space. Although their music is always warm and homey, new album Roses sounds like it’s made from a mental space that is both confident and comfortable. Very impressive, considering that the duo - who also happen to be a couple - welcomed a baby daughter last year. Catch them on tour this autumn - I’ve seen them multiple times now and I’ve never been disappointed.
